June Status Update

It's the first of the month...

(If you are waving your hand back and forth and singing "wake up, wake up, wake up," then I'm pretty sure you check off the same age bracket as I do)!

I had a nostalgia moment recently for Farley's Currently linky party. It was such a fun way to connect with other bloggers and get a glimpse into their lives. Although I started blogging at the tail end of this linky, it was definitely my favorite to participate in. So, I decided I would try to keep that spirit alive by doing a monthly "status update" about what's going on in my life.

Here's how I'm feeling at the moment:

1. Watching...

...the Stanley Cup Final. Although I have roughly zero interest in either team participating, I've been watching hockey for about two-thirds of my life, so I'm always interested to see who lifts the Cup at the end. Also, I have a die-hard Penguins fan in my class that I love to tease! I think I'll give a few extra minutes of recess every time the Predators win (if the Predators ever win #sigh)

2. Enjoying...

...being on the same schedule as my favorite person! This is the first time in the three years we've lived together that we see each other every day. Good thing I like the guy. ;) As much as I love my dogs, having an actual human to talk to when I get home from work has done much to improve my mood! We've been spending a lot of time on our new patio:

It's the perfect place to hang out after dinner and relax...and in a few weeks, it will be the perfect place to start my morning off with a cup of coffee and my laptop! So comfy!

...delicious meals courtesy of Home Chef! Since my person is now home for weeknight dinners, we wanted to do something to make sure that we weren't eating takeout every night.

Enter Home Chef!

Y'all, these meals are the bomb dot com. We've been using it for a month and there's only been one meal we weren't too fond of. The meals are nothing fancy (which works for us because we ain't too fancy ourselves), but they are solid and filling...and save me from having to the grocery store several times per week!

...a very successful hashtag sale on TPT! This sale was organized by some of the fine folks in the TPT Focused Success Facebook group (I'm linking up the course page because it is HANDS DOWN the best teacherpreneur resource I've come across...I've made my money back and then some due to the knowledge I've gained from this purchase). During this sale I made three times what I made in all of May 2016!

I'm so psyched about this unexpected bump in my sales that I'm going to keep my Choice Board Growing Bundle at the sale price for the rest of the week. That's right, you can grab ALL my choice boards for the price of ONE of my choice boards! Take a chance, check it out!

Thinking About...

...how much FUN this school year was! What a complete 180 from last year, let me tell you. I'm looking forward to making some memories as the school year closes. This is my second year with my 4th graders, and I am going to miss their crazy energy for sure!

"Can we have a 'Who Makes the Best Mummy?' challenge?" Of course you can!

Hope you enjoyed my status update! Can't wait to see what this month brings :)
