Show and Tell Tuesday

I'm excited to link up with Stephanie over at Forever in Fifth Grade for Show and Tell Tuesday!

I am awful at remembering to take pictures! I'm hoping if I keep participating in these link ups, it will encourage me to get my camera out more often!

Come teach 3rd grade, they said.
It will be fun, they said.
You won't have to give 9 billion assessments in the 4th quarter, they said.

When does it end???

It's the time of year where "pierce protective film and heat for 5 minutes" is the only type of recipe I can follow.

At least it's not takeout???

My favorite part of my bullet journal this month is this fun little doodle challenge:

Every day there is a different flower to doodle. It's a good way to practice using my colored pencils!

Sophie was ready for her close up:

It's impossible to be in a bad mood when you look at that face.

Hope you enjoyed my first Show and Tell! Don't forget to link up with Forever in Fifth Grade to share your own!

    1. I hate it because they have so much sodium...but you gotta do what you gotta do!

  3. I had to set alarms in my phone to remember to take pictures regularly. It really worked, and I haven't needed it at all this year. I'm living on easy foods now, too. If I can't cook it in less than 5 minutes, take out it is.
P.S. There's a ton of testing in 1st grade, too.

    1. The alarm is a great idea, thanks! There's probably a lot of 1 on 1 testing still in 1st grade? That can't be fun either!

  5. I know what you mean about the assessments. Can you imagine how much more time we would have for teaching if we weren't testing all the time? Thanks for linking up!

    1. Then every year they change the requirements, so you never know what to expect! Ugh! Thanks for hosting!

  6. I spent 19 years in third grade and loved that age. I moved up to fifth and enjoy it too. There are so many assessments in every grade. It makes me sad that it is taking over.

I forget to take pictures too. I will ask my assistant to do it for me.
