Not So Currently! March

I'm (belatedly) linking up with Farley for Currently!

My goodness, you blink and it's already March 5th! Even though I'm late to the party, I couldn't miss Currently for my favorite month of the year...

It never fails, whoever wakes up first turns on CNN...and then we can't turn it off. I can't believe these men trading 3rd grade playground insults want to run this country! What a debacle.

I am obsessed with my PerfecTea maker from Teavana. I'll never be able to drink bagged tea again!

I don't think you ever get over the "guilt" of taking a personal day, but I certainly was due for one. Looking forward to enjoying my weekend without feeling rushed to get everything done.

Oh my, did I slack on the paper grading this quarter. If only there were paper grading fairies...

Nothing in my closet excites me. I think it's time to do some updating.

We are not, but other schools in the county are. We are either closed or have a teacher work day for the big elections, due to safety.

Thanks for reading, and thanks to Farley for hosting!

  1. There is something magical about Mondays...when you don't have to work! Enjoy your three day weekend!!!

  2. I would love to take a personal day, but I have to save my days for my daughter's college graduation and a wedding this year. Enjoy your day off! Maybe you could go shopping for some fun additions to that wardrobe!

  3. I love personal days on Mondays! They seem to be the hardest day of the week! I think they bother me this year because I don't have any specials at all until Wednesday so both Monday and Tuesday tend to be really long.

    1. Oh no! We've had our specials canceled a lot lately and it's the pits!

  4. Enjoy your short week! ( Lol) Personal days are needed for teachers! No guilt! The shopping bug has bit me as well with all this nice spring weather we've been having here in Ga!
