Sunday Scoop 2/7/16

Today I am linking up with Teaching Trio for the Sunday Scoop!

I don't know about you, but the last few weeks have been crazy in my classroom...more than usual! Busy, but in a good way. We've been working on a lot of projects that I'm excited to show off soon!

It's definitely been nice to relax this weekend and prepare for the week ahead. I'm sure a week that starts with cranky up-past-their-bedtime-to-watch-the-Super Bowl students and ends with a Valentine's celebration will be a breeze! /sarcasmfont

Here's the scoop for my week:

I finished my run yesterday with a smile on my face, which hasn't happened in about 5 years. Not only is the weather perfect for running right now in South Florida, I am in love with my new Nikes! They make me feel like I am running on a cloud of fluffy marshmallows.

I dove in and started revising my first product. Now that I *know* what I'm doing, I think I need a more cohesive look to my products before I start adding any more. I absolutely love the design I came up with and can't wait to show it off!

My bathroom is starting to look like an episode of Hoarders, so it's time to purge and reorganize. I have one face, I don't really think I need 24394823 different products for it.

There are a bunch of ripe bananas on my counter dying to be turned into muffins and banana bread. I'm going to try whole wheat flour and almond milk to up the healthiness level.

I have no cookie butter left and a gift card to TJs, so I think it's time to make an appearance there!

When we visited the National Gallery of Art in DC, I was in really reignited the interest I had in art and art history when I was younger. I grabbed a book from Barnes and Noble the other day and am enjoying learning about art throughout the years. I'd love to go back to the museum one day (or, bucket list, check out the Louvre) and actually know what I'm looking at!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to check out the scoop on everyone else's week over at Teaching Trio!

  1. Couch to 5K and Trader Joe's - two of my favorites!

    1. TJ's is a dangerous place! Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I sympathize with your beauty product woes! Have a great week :)

    Primary Teaching Resources

    1. There's always one more miracle product out there! Thanks for reading!

  3. 24394823 different products! Funny! I just purged my children's clothing drawers and BOY were there a lot of items that didn't fit anymore. I'm glad you've found some amazing running shoes. Fluffy marshmallows! Have a great week with your overtired Valentine's-Day-expectant students! I'm thinking my town might be in for another snow day. I'm not sure whether to be excited or aggravated!
    Laughter and Consistency

    1. I'm sure having to make them up at the end of the year when the weather is nice is no fun! Though I wish I could experience a snow day at least once!
