Sunday Scoop 1/10/16

Happy Sunday!

Today I'm linking up with Teaching Trio for the Sunday Scoop. Unfortunately we did not win the Powerball last night, so it's same old-same old around here...what would I do with 900 million dollars anyway?

Here's what I have on tap for the day:

We are down to a package of saltine crackers and some leftover Christmas candy, so I think it's about time to hit up the grocery store. After a few weeks of craziness, I'm looking forward to getting in the kitchen tonight and making a proper meal. My closets and shelves are a mess and I need to do some definite reorganizing before I use my Christmas gift cards to buy even more stuff!

I just started on some monthly choice boards that I think will be a hit, and I'd like to spend some time working on that. I also really need to do a better job of planning out some blog posts in advance.

This was quite a week...after averaging 10+ miles walking per day in DC last week, then coming home to a dog who needed emergency surgery, and on top of that having a severe reaction to some new medication I'm taking...I'm happy to just sit on the couch for most of the day. Can't wait to see what next week holds!

Have a great weekend, and don't forget to stop by Teaching Trio's page!

  1. Hey Marianna! I hope that you and your dog feel much better! Being under the weather in any way is never fun! I can use some organization in my closet as well. After the winter break, I returned home with several things that need to go in my closet or somewhere around my bedroom.

Hope you have a great week and happy teaching!

  2. Feel better, and hugs to your doggy too! That's not a great way to start off the new year, but it can only get better. I am planning on buying a powerball ticket today... 1.3 billion is even better than 900 million, right?!?!?! I've been slowly reorganizing as well but my giftcards didn't last as long! :) Have a wonderful week and put your feet up as much as possible!

  3. We took a major part of our break to purge and organize. Not my favorite thing to do, but sometimes necessary. I am getting a classroom for science this next year and organizing is going to be key! I have my feet up now and it feels pretty good! Very cold here in Wisconsin. Have a great week!
