Sunday Scoop 10/11/15

It's been a great weekend so far!

Yesterday I spent a small fortune while shopping (I rarely get to the stores so when I do, it's #treatyoself time!), then headed to Florida Panthers home opener, where they DEMOLISHED the opposing team 7-1. Great start to the season!

Today I'm linking up with The Teaching Trio for The Sunday Scoop!

Here's how my day is shaping up:

I have to get my lunches ready for the week, and the ingredients to make dinner. This week I'm eyeing the Chicken Parm Casserole from Emily Bites...yum! I also would like to do something active, since I skipped the gym yesterday in favor of some shopping cardio.  My closet is a MESS and something needs to be done about it...since apparently turning the spare bedroom into a closet just for me is NOT an option!

I really need to schedule some posts with Buffer and update my Pinterest boards, since I can see the tumbleweeds drifting by. It's so hard to keep up with everything. I'm also hoping that some type of sugary frozen coffee drink ends up in my hands sometime today. I've earned it!

Other than the things mentioned above, the most strenuous thing I have planned is sampling all the pumpkin things I brought home from Trader Joe's yesterday. I already started with some pumpkin frozen waffles, which were extraordinary!

Don't forget to share your Sunday Scoop! Have a relaxing day!

  1. Happy Sunday! That Chicken Parmesan Casserole looks delicious. I'll have to add that one to my go to list! I luv pasta dishes and I luv shopping cardio! Enjoy your Lazy Sunday!

    1. Thank you! I don't know why more people don't recognize shopping cardio as a legit form of exercise, lol!

  2. Sounds like you have an awesome Sunday planned ;) Meal prepping is always such a pain…..but SO WORTH IT later in the week. I need to get back into it :/

I'm so glad I found your blog -- I'm always on the hunt for other 3rd grade bloggers! Looking forward to stopping by here more often!

    1. Thanks for stopping by! When I'm tired and hungry I make the WORST choices, so that little bit of time preparing meals for the week definitely make a difference for me!

  3. Wait.... so shopping cardio isn't an allowable exercise??? WAH!! That is my favorite type of exercise. That Chicken Parm looks totally delicious! I hope you have a relaxing day today! Thanks for linking up with us!

    1. LOL, I think we need to start a movement to get shopping cardio recognized as a "real" exercise! I always love linking up with you guys, thanks for hosting!

  4. Treat yo self! I love that you have that on the scoop today. Made me smile. :)
