Sunday Scoop 8/30/15

Happy Sunday!

I'm linking up with The Teaching Trio to share my Sunday Scoop. Join us, won't you?

Looking forward to a great week! Here's what I'm doing to help myself stay focused and organized:

HAVE TO:

One thing that worked great for me last week was packing my lunches ahead of time, and having something ready for dinner that I could pop in the microwave when I got home. I'm trying very hard to avoid takeout and processed foods during the week, because I notice a big difference in my energy levels and attitude when I try to eat a little more cleanly. Today I'm making Skinnytaste's Easy Macaroni Casserole. I've had great luck with her recipes, so I'm sure it will be a winner! I also need to plan out my week, and this week I actually intend to open my planner and look at it once or twice!

HOPE TO:

When I started the blog I set up a Facebook page, but I haven't really delved into the FB world yet. I want to try to schedule some posts and see what content is going to bring people over to the blog.  I also need to keep plugging away on my items. I have a big goal I want to reach by the end of December, and I have a LOT of work to do to get there!

HAPPY TO:

Erika may not be coming (that tease), but it is still pretty gray and dreary out today. I'm seeing myself curled up on the couch with a blanket while I wait on dinner.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Link up over at The Teaching Trio to share your Sunday Scoop!

  1. I'm packing lunches today too! Being prepared helps so much, and makes that week go smoother! Glad Erika missed you!

    1. Thanks for stopping by! 30-45 minutes of meal prep on Sunday saves so much time during the week.

  2. Packed lunches are also on my to do list. Must go pick up some items tomorrow to take with me for the week - must try to pick up salads if i can!

Have a great week! I'm glad to hear that Erika hasn't reached you - hope it doesn't! We were watching closely as we not long left Florida and were worrying about it!

    1. I love pre-made salads! Anything where I don't have to sit there and chop, lol.

  3. Have you tried Mason Jar Salads? I just found some great recipes for them on Pinterest. Excited to prep the week on Sunday as well! Hope you have a great week!
