Currently! August

Hello!

I'm linking up with Farley at Oh' Boy Fourth Grade for my fist ever Currently!

*Listening...I love these dogs to death but they bark at EVERY.LITTLE.THING. At least I know if my home is ever invaded by a squirrel or a little girl on a tricycle, they have my back!

Sometimes they stop barking long enough to steal my pillows.

Loving...After a LONG, stressful few weeks for my man friend, we were able to enjoy a full 24 hour period together. We saw Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation, which we both agreed was absolutely ridiculous, and had dinner at one of my favorite restaurants. Nothing fancy, but I'm not a fancy kind of girl.

Thinking...I'm at the point where every thought I have is somehow related to my classroom. I'm moving rooms and I have big plans!

Wanting...I have only a few more weeks of freedom, I'd like to maintain my tan as long as I can! Unfortunately, the sun has not been cooperating with me,

Needing...I had the most wonderful meal last night and I would love to try to make it at home! Pineapple chicken skewers with a pineapple sriracha sauce and roasted red potatoes...oh, did I mention the chicken was wrapped in BACON? So, sooooo good.

B2S RAK: I can think of a few people I'd like to make a little survival kit for...for most of the day teachers are on a little island by themselves, it's nice when you are a new teacher to know that people have your back!

Make sure to link up with Farley and join in the fun!

  2. Your pups are adorable! I have three of my own "protectors". Your meal out sounds great - I cherish these times with family before the stress begins.

  3. I may need someone to make ME a survival kit ;) I'm not a new teacher but my teams haven't really been teams the past couple years and I'm getting a new partner again this year.

I can't turn my teacher brain off either--especially once August hits, it's all school all the time much to my family's chagrin!

    1. Aww, I know how you feel...at my previous school I was always on the "revolving door" team. It's very frustrating!

  4. I'm moving from 5th to 3rd this year and I CANNOT wait to get into my new room and put all of my BIG ideas into action. I totally can relate to the brain always moving to school.

    Happy Currently!
